A third generation developer, Kassie first cemented her own reputation leading large-scale development in one of the fastest growing markets of Las Vegas. There she founded the region’s first notable, award-winning project development services firm. Employing over 50 executives, over two offices, the company quickly became the development partner of choice, for institutional developers such as Howard Hughes Corp, American Nevada Corp, Transcontinental Corp, Lake Las Vegas Resort Developers and MGM International. Smith rapidly scaled her organization into specialized subsidiaries, spanning development of luxury residential and resort communities , international procurement, retail stores, and real estate brokerage. Her deep-rooted influence in the National Home Builder market, involved her in both local and national boards, giving them a vantage point into the evolution of "the new" luxury lifestyle communities. Receiving significant notoriety and leadership awards , Smith led her company to receive premier projects, and expanded teams to execute upwards of 45 projects per annum.
With project budgets over $3.5 Billion, and valuable investor relationships, her historic portfolio encompasses a diverse range of asset classes, including ultra-luxury hotels and resorts, master-planned resort residential communities and mixed-use urban centers. With a passion for leadership, Smith sits on boards for the development of industry changing projects and has assisted in notable landmarks as; "The Smith Center of the Performing Arts", World market Center Las Vegas" , Lake Las Vegas Resort and MGM City Center.
As a hard working single mother for two decades, her proudest accomplishment is what she has given back to her family, honoring them with a secure lifestyle and mentoring not only her own children but young professionals in her industry.
